While I got the perk of running on stage to accept the Key Art
Award for this site, Lemony was truly a group effort for the people
at 65media. I had a good time buildinging the 3D elements in Maya
and also enjoied the challege of writing the first draft of the
proposal which we later bound into a book. Chuck Chugumlung's and
my designs pop up here and there in the site. However, the burden
of design was put squarely on the muscular shoulders of Gabe "Bread
Trick" Rubin.

The deadline on this site went from short to oh-my-God! Paul Szypula
and I burned the midnight oil on this one. Ironically because of
the tight deadline it was an unusual situation where we could pretty
much do want we wanted—and we did! The flash
work really set this one off for me. Now if I can only get that
song out of my head.

This was another one done with a point blank deadline. To me it's
a perfect example of how a great flash animator can push your design
to the next level. Evan DeHaven added a lot of fun and creativity
to this EPK site.

The request from the client was to build a site that highlights
the intrigue and suspense that is synonymous with M. Night Shyamalan's
films. Unfortunately the assest didn't really support that. To kick
the project off I was given a couple rolls of lunch time shots in
a Pennsylvania meadow. Not so scary. What I came up with was a moody
interpretation of those original pictures. Each photo was treated
to look like daytime, twilight, and night. As the user clicked arounded
the site, in whatever order they wanted, the site would slowly get
darker and more mysterious.

The Haunted Mansion was my first stab at designing a theatrical
website. Again, like Lemony, this was a major group effort for the
people at 65media. I really dug in and actually hand drew, and painted,
the interface. We just kept adding and adding to the experience.
And when we finished, we would have another brainstorm and add a
little more. Being a linear experience thge experience plays a lot
like the ride: family fun!

On Hidalgo I played the part of Flash Developer. This was my first
dabblings with video and flash. Fernando Ramirez
and I worked on-and-off on this site for almost a year. We had a
funny love/hate reltionship with it. In the end we both looked at
it and said, "Man, it turned out pretty good dude."

Home on the Range was one of those projects that kinda designed
itself. After I blasted though the design Evan DeHaven handed me
the flashed out nav and interface build-out. I just took it from
there. If they were only all that easy.

I flashed this monster of a site out for Genex back in the day.
Character based navigation and sections, full blown EPK, and an

A sentimental favorite. My first movie website. If you don't remember

It seems like every designer I know worked up a set of comps for
