Pinkberry was packed like a night club last Saturday night. I swear to God they could open a Pinkberry next door to a Pinkberry and it would still be packed. Frozen Yogurt was big in the 90’s but this has taken it to a whole new level. The weird thing is it’s JUST Pinkberry that is enjoying the comeback. Remember Penguins Frozen Yogurt? They used to be on in every mini-mall across the Southland, you know right next ot the One Hour Photo and the Nail Palace. Now they are mostly closed or get no love.

Pinkberry has spawned a flock of sad and lonely imitators. This is a list of all the hack shops that are trying to jump on board: Blue Cherry Yogurt Bar, CéFiore, YogurtBerry, Yogurt Tree, BerryLine, Yo Berry, Kiwiberri, Snowberry, Roseberry, Berri Good, Limelite, Bear Naked, Pingo Berry, Peach House, Dolci Mango, PapaMingo, and Cantaloop. YogurtBerry? Are you kidding me? If you drop by any one of these stores you’ll find them totally empty. So sad…

Here’s Nestor Carbonell spotted outside the Sofitel talking about the pilot he just shot. Sheila and I were on our way to lunch at Simon LA. He’s on my favorite network TV show: LOST. I watched about 75 episodes in a row on iTunes. It took me a couple months to make it though. I’m totally hooked.

I could explain this photograph but that would take all the fun out of it.

Ugly: as in very fucking unattractive.

You may not know this but Sarah Silverman is stalking me. In the photo she looks all innocent but trust me she is totally checking me out. See how she has her head down trying to pretend that she’s reading the menu. Yeah right, I’m totally buying that you’re trying to pick out which one of the three thousand items on the Jerry’s Deli menu you’re gonna order. I know you’re getting the half sandwich and bowl of soup because that’s what I always get. So sad.

Man, it’s been a while. The corner has been looking pretty lonely. The occasional mattress would pop up here and there but never any sofas—until today. this is a nice little brother/sister act. The little one appeared yesterday and this morning I see that the big one sneaked up behind it. The bigger the crowd the more people show up. I guess the same goes for furniture. I really like the crack-allure the little one has. It kinda looks like a bowl of pudding left in the fridge for too long. Again we’re missing the bottom cushions but those never seem to turn up. On my way home tonight I’m gonna check for change. Wish me luck.

Someone dropped off another sofa today taking the grand total of sofas to 3!
