Watch Louis Breakdance!

I walked back to work with close to Harold Perrineau

28 Aug

Harold Perrineau plays Michael on Lost which one day will start up again, sigh…

He’s an absolute mess on the show and thus not very likable. However, I really liked him as Mercutio in the 90′s version of Romeo and Juliet.

Michael Bolton’s Career is Not Looking Good

28 Aug

I don’t get why you would put the mullet version of Bolton on your 3 year old but whatever the reason it just looks like the final nail in the coffin. By his website it looks like he’s gone down the road of “Hey, whatever. I’ll just sing the standards for the baby boomers.” Mike, you’re better than that man. Check out this musical cluster-fuck I found on YouTube. Michael Bolton and Kenny G… T O G E T H E R! When Kenny G pulls off one of his patented run of notes on that machine gun of corniness and then Bolton slides into home with the hook—it’s pure magic. The kind you might see at a bar mitzvah. Go white men go!

I went to the movies with close to Sanaa Lathan

28 Aug

Here’s Sanaa Lathan at the Archlight in the Valley have a cocktail before taking in a movie. The last thing I saw her in was Something New ‘which I thought was a good little romantic comedy.

Fright Rider

28 Aug

On a very special episode of Knight Rider KITT blows a transmission seal so his retarded cousin RED steps in to save the day!

Tell me you don’t love this car. I spotted this reflec-terrific beast in the Best Buy parking lot in Sherman Oaks. Live your dream people.

Sofa of the Month Club

22 Aug

Man, this is the most boring sofa I’ve ever seen on this corner. Let’s get it together and try a little harder mmm-kay. The placement is all off and the color is dull. You’re better than that people of Van Nuys.

Dogs are Awesome

13 Aug

I saw these on faildogs.

Man on Wire

12 Aug

I remember the Butterfly Man telling me this story years ago about a guy who walked across a wire between the Twin Towers. I thought it was bullshit. Later, I looked it up on the internet and it turns out that it really happened.

Lat weekend I saw Man on Wire (★ ★ ★ ★ ★) which is an amazing documentary about Philippe Petit’s wire walk in 1974. The story of how a Philippe and a few friends pulled this off is wonderful and almost unbelievable “coup” is skillfully retold. There’s a surprising amount of footage from the 70′s—even leading up the the event.

This one will hit you on a few different levels. See it just for the bell bottoms!
