Harold Perrineau plays Michael on Lost which one day will start up again, sigh…
He’s an absolute mess on the show and thus not very likable. However, I really liked him as Mercutio in the 90’s version of Romeo and Juliet.

Perhaps the reason he was such a “mess” on LOST is that his character was too strongly like the average human being with both virtues and flaws. And that made fans like yourself very uncomfortable.
