Garden Pavilion: Weekend 2

Well, things are coming along. Blake popped over on Saturday and helped kick things off with the initial platform. Sunday and Monday I busted out the floor, the 4×4′s, and the beginning of the rails.

This is the first small bit of progress on a garden pavilion I’m building in the front yard. Last weekend I was about to build and pour 4 concrete piers. That was some serious manual labor but it’s all done and level so next weekend I’m going to pop in a deck on top that will act as the floor.
