Groundhog Day

A cynical Pittsburgh TV weatherman, Phil Connors, is sent to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, to cover the annual Groundhog Day event. He finds himself inexplicably trapped in a time loop, reliving the same day over and over again. As he endures the repeating day, he goes through stages of disbelief, indulgence, and despair before ultimately striving to become a better person. Through self-improvement and acts of kindness, Phil finds purpose and a way to break free from the cycle.

In the UK, the film saw a VHS release on October 28, 1996, distributed by VCI/Cinema Club and Columbia TriStar.
